For my own family, AADL has meant everything.
Over the years, my children and I spent countless hours in its welcoming spaces, participating in programs like the Summer Game and storytime and craft, browsing the shelves, entering LEGO contests, and simply being present in a place that felt like home. When life brought us difficult moments, the library remained a constant. Its staff showed compassion. Its programs continued to inspire. And its doors remained open, offering not just books, but warmth, connection, and hope.
